Bevelling of pipe or tubing is most commonly used to prepare the ends for welding. It can also be used for deburring the cut ends for safety and aesthetic reasons. Many companies automate pipe bevelling because it saves time and money. Other reasons include, no more 'dirty operations' such as hand grinding or torching, eliminates ergonomic issues from an operator handling hand tools, safer than hand grinding or torching because all chips are contained within the machine and special forms such as J-bevels are easily produced.

We now produce the cutting tools for bevelling because there are so many companies now using them. We produce quality goods that are perfect for the job at hand due to our expert knowledge of the materials and grades needed to have a long tool life with a great quality finish.

We also regrind and refurbish used bevelling tools, which can reduce a companies costs, while ensuring the highest of quality. Often companies have multiple sizes of bevelling tools that they replace once they've been used however, in many places we've managed to provide a service to grind their large bevelling tools into smaller ones once they've been reground to the same dimensions multiple times. This form of recycling often saves a large bulk of money for our customers. Also a coating service is also provided with the aim of prolonging tool life to increase cost savings.
