Milling
We strive to work with our customers to achieve Optimized Milling, Flexibility of Choice and Vibration Issue Solutions. If you’re after a more bespoke cutting tool, we manufacture and modify milling cutters in all materials so we can tailor specifically for your machining needs.
We can offer milling cutters to suit a wide range of different applications. Global Tooling Solutions supply a huge range of tools for various milling operations, such as:

- PROFILING
- SOLID END
- HPC
- SHOULDERING
- PLUNGING
- FACING
- SLOTTING
- SITTING
- HFM
- THREAD MILLING
We can provide Milling Cutters made from solid Carbide, HSCo or HHS making them suitable to machine a wide range of materials including iron, stainless steel, aluminium and other ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
For each operation we can help you make sure you use the right cutter for the job such as: General Purpose cutters, High Performance cutters, Non-Ferrous cutters, Edge Prep cutters and more.
These cutters can then come in a range of shapes and sizes needed for your machining operation like: Square End, Ball Nose, Corner Radius, Chamfer Prep, Dovetail, Replaceable Head, Engraving, Chamfer Milling, T-Slot/Woodruff, Shell End Mills, HSS Side and Face, Corner Rounding.
Solid Carbide
With GTS solid carbide milling tools, you always achieve the best results: We Supply all tool types, from micro-milling for mold & die, to HPC roughing for mechanical engineering. In addition, end mills with different edge preparations, ball nosed cutters, torus cutters, and special cutters for machining steel (including stainless and hardened steels), high-temperature alloys, cast iron, aluminium or plastic.
Indexable Inserts
GTS indexable milling systems have tools for face milling, shoulder milling, high feed milling, and more. All new GTS indexable insert milling tools use the extra hard coating for increased durability and longer life of the toolholder. Indexable inserts can come standard or special bespoke depending on your machining needs.
The shortcut to successful milling is to find the right type of contact between the edge and material at the entry and exit points of a cut. Don’t forget the golden rule of milling: cut thick to thin.
We partner up with our customers to Reduce Cost, Improve Tool Life, Improve Output, Improve Quality and Improve Set-up Times. Providing reliable grades, geometries and coatings.
Often we work with customers to provide a service with our inserts to regrind/refurbish any inserts and tool holders that get damaged during machining operations and we can even buy your scrap carbide tooling.
